I recently shared a shot of this woven rattan lamp the other day on Instagram, so I thought I’d do a post devoted to woven lamps. I didn’t realize I had such an affection for this trend until I looked around the house and saw elements in my lighting.

Adding woven elements to your lighting is such a great way to add texture to your home without having to use pillows and linens. While pillows and linens are great ways to add texture to your home, adding these elements to lighting feels unexpected.

I love the floor lamp I chose for our dining room. Most floor lamps are either made of metal or wood, but the rattan wrapped section is unique and beautiful.

As with any trend, you want to incorporate them in small doses. Just make sure you add in other design elements to balance out the woven look. Another great thing about these woven lamps, is that they don’t have the feel of the decor from an episode of the Golden Girls. (Great show, by the way, and I’m currently making my way through The Golden Palace as I write this post). The designs are all modern, and are easy to mix with just about any design style out there.
I am linking my floor lamp, chandelier, and table lamp for you guys. And as usual, I’m rounding up some other lamps with woven or rattan textures for you to shop. Which one is your favorite? Let me know in the comments.

If you want to just go the woven shade route, here are a few options:

- Rattan woven shade (top left; shop here)
- Natural seagrass shade (top right; shop here)
- Woven trim shade (bottom left; shop here)
- Scallop shade (bottom right; shop here)
These options are great because they are neutral enough to go with just about anything. If the woven trend is still a little too much for you, I’ve included two options that are on-trend but not over-the-top with the woven look. How cute is the scalloped shade?
Here are a few more choices that I think are cute:
This one would be perfect if you were going for a coastal vibe:
Loving the shape of this one:
Finally, I’m loving the accordion shade on this one. I love that the accordion shade is coming back!
