Neutral Christmas Decor Ideas

I’ve shared a few blog posts with how I’ve decorated our home for Christmas this year. (If you are interested in reading those posts, you can see them here, here, and here.) As I mentioned before, I’m really gravitating towards more neutral Christmas decor this year, but I’ve still kept a little traditional red and green, and some sparkle.

I decided to keep our bedroom mantel pretty simple this year. I wanted to do some type of winter art in the center, but wanted to save a little money, so I just kept my regular art in place.

I used the same pine cone stems from Hobby Lobby that I used in my kitchen vase. (If you missed that post, you can read it here.)

I’ve seen plenty of white Christmas village houses in stores, but I decided to save a little money and make my own. My mom gave me her set of Christmas village houses, and one had a broken roof that had been glued back together. I decided to paint it white and I really like the way it turned out.

Other Christmas Views

I enjoyed adding little touches of Christmas to other places in our home this year. I’ll share a few things that I put together below.

I had some leftover bells from my Christmas bowl filler, so I decided to add a few to my staircase garland and I think it added a pretty touch.

You might recognize the little wood tray on my entryway table from previous blog posts. I’ve shared how I styled this tray for the spring and fall, but I decided to add a little gold glitter for Christmas. (You can find the gold pine cones here, or check your local Hobby Lobby for similar stems.)

I’m loving the gold nutcrackers that are so popular this year. I had an unfinished wood nutcracker ornament, so I spray painted it gold.

I didn’t change much with my sitting room mantel decor. I just added this white wood tree that was given to me by my mom. She cut the wood, painted it, and strung the beads. I thought it was the perfect touch to add to my white/neutral mantel.

A lot of my decor is either handmade, or old, but I will link some similar items below.
