Wreaths are a great way to dress up the front of your house without having to spend a lot of money. I like to think of them as accessories to complete a look. The changing seasons are a perfect time to update your house’s look, and since spring is right around the corner, it’s time to start searching for the perfect spring wreath!
I’ve been eyeing several wreaths for my front door for spring, and I wanted to share a few of my favorites with you. I’m a huge fan of eucalyptus but also loving a classic boxwood as well.

Last year I made two wreaths but wasn’t really a huge fan of how they turned out. I think I was feeling rushed when I went to Hobby Lobby to purchase my supplies so I ended up with things that I didn’t love. (Tip: don’t try to take on a creative project when you are rushed because you will end up with something that is just okay).
My front door is red right now, so I’m not wanting anything with too much color. I’m not a big fan of bright colors. (Anyone that knows me is probably laughing out loud at this statement). I love the natural look of grass, eucalyptus, and lambs ear. All of the wreaths that I have picked in this post could go with just about any front door color.
I use command hooks to hang my wreaths on the glass of our door and they do well for me. One tip to make sure that they stick well is to use rubbing alcohol on a cotton ball and really wipe down the glass that you are sticking it too. Let it fully dry and then apply the hook. I’ve had a few hooks fall but only if I was lazy in my cleaning method before applying the hook. You can find the command hooks here.
I think I like all of these options, so I’m going to need to narrow it down a bit. Once I decide, I will be sure to share in a future post.
