Adding simple and subtle hints of fall to our home

I shared a blog post a few weeks ago with a few easy ways to incorporate fall into your home. If you missed that post, you can read it here. I recently added a few more things and wanted to share them with you in a new blog post.

I’ve mentioned before that I’m a fan of neutral decor pieces, so adding extra fall items with neutral elements is one of my favorite ways to decorate for the season.

We are really lucky to have a fireplace in our bedroom, and I absolutely love decorating it for the seasons. I didn’t change much on the mantel, but you can see what it normally looks like in this blog post.

The next space I added to was my nightstand in our bedroom. I changed out the framed artwork and the green eucalyptus stems for something a little darker. I loved the post I did a few months ago on capsule decorating, and I’m thinking about doing a fall version. Let me know in the comments if that is something you want to see!

The last place I changed a few things out was the table in my sitting area. I had a wood vase with spring/summery stems for the longest time. I found these stems on Amazon and really love how they look in my wood vase. I also added a few fabric pumpkins that I found at Hobby Lobby. You can find the velvet pumpkin here and the striped pumpkin here.

I’m pleased with how these simple decor items added just a hint of fall to my home. Have you decorated for fall yet? Let me know in the comments!
