Thanks for stopping by my blog. I’m so glad that you are here! I am Amy; wife, mom to four boys, and dance teacher. Over the past few years I have become more and more interested in home decor, home improvement, and DIY projects. This website is a place where I can document all of the projects we have completed, upcoming projects, and share some quick and easy DIY projects.

I try to take a realistic, one-day-at-a-time approach to all of my projects. I usually have several going at once, and many ideas floating around in my head. I’m hoping that this site can help connect other people around the world that may also take this same approach and at the same time, help people realize that furnishing, decorating, and updating a home takes time, patience, and money. It isn’t done in a day!

1. Why did you decide to blog?

Having a place that is just mine is important as a busy mom of four. I feel it is important to nurture the things we enjoy, and for me that includes blogging.

2. What do you do for your other job?

I teach dance! I’ve taught for over 15 years. Jazz and tap are my favorite genres to teach.

3. What do you do for fun?

Besides blogging, reading is my favorite activity. In fact, you might find a few book reviews here in the future.
